The Toshiba Satellite M645-S4080 Now Has a Lower Laptop Price

Laptop Model M645-S4080 ($1,100 street price) by Toshiba is fully loaded with advanced features that are creating a lot of buzz in the computer world. With standard features like an Intel Core i5-460M processor, with 6GB of RAM, and the switch able graphics that perform so well. It’s not perfect though. The Toshiba M645′s -S4080′s much impressive power seems to cause a problem with the considerable amount of heat emanations originating from the side vent area. Another issue to make note of is that the 48Wh battery that this laptop is equipped with seems to be a size too small, especially for a laptop that heats up this much.

To me the M645-S4080 model has an appearance that hp laptop ryzen 5 seriously could use a an updated look and feel.. Toshiba refers to the exterior coating as its Fusion finish. It sounds a lot better than saying that it is plastic. It is not impressive in that regard. What Toshiba has done with this model is to embed bits of texture into the finish to help prevent marks from finger prints and smudges. Toshiba apparently has heard the criticism from the public about earlier models with smooth finishes that seem to invite smudges and fingerprints, with the ultra smooth finish look.

The Toshiba M645-S4080 does not seem to be as appealing as some of the other newer laptops like the new, less costly, Asus U45Jc-A1 ($867 street). In addition, the Toshiba weighs a little more. Weight is not a desirable feature for a laptop, or a…I dare not say…

There really does not seem to be anything particularly unique or special about this laptop which has a 14-inch, 1,366-by-768 resolution wide screen. This edition does not have a glass layer over the screen, like the Samsung QX410-J01 does for example. The screen is just a standard screen, the same as that of the HP dm4-1160us, and Asus U45Jc-A1 models. Many people favor the keyboard style of this laptop, borrowed from former award-winning models like the Toshiba Satellite T235-S1350 ($630 direct, 4 stars) and mini notebook NB305-N410 ($320 street, 4.5 stars).

So in conclusion I really don’t give my highest recommendation this particular laptop, unless you are looking for power really. The Toshiba laptop that made the list of best laptops 2010 is the Toshiba Satellite L500, which is hard to find. Toshiba is not still selling it this model. The new buzz seems to be about the Toshiba Qosmio. When I do my next Toshiba laptop reviews, I will review the Toshiba Qosmio. The Toshiba M645 is available at a lower laptop price which I’m sure might make it more more appealing to some potential buyers.
